Abstract

Cuando se habla de “Gestión”, parece que la referencia más habituada es asimilarla con la actividad productiva de la organización. Más allá de dicha presunción, la gestión tiene que ver con “toma de decisiones”, las que en últimas dotan de sentido la gestión. Sin embargo, en ocasiones, en la toma de decisiones se actúa conscientemente en contra del mejor juicio. ¿Por qué en la toma de decisiones, hay acciones irracionales? Para resolver esta paradoja, se recurrirá a la teoría causal de la acción de John Searle. En un primer momento se esbozará la estructura de la acción intencional; seguidamente, se analizará como las referencias causales explican la acción, al mismo tiempo que detonan su insuficiencia para determinarla.
