This work presents a proposal so that the governmental sports justice body, that is to say, the Commission of Appeal and Arbitration of Sports (CAAD) reaches an efficient performance. Through the years, we have seen the evolution of this body, including the reforms to the CAAD in the present Sport’s Law and we can mention that it has had great advancements, like including the suspension of the appealed act during the time that takes the process of the resour ce, which will allow the presumed offender, to continue enjoying the rights and obligations he/she is subject in terms of the statute that governs his/her Sports Organization; also, another important advancement is the possibility granted to the CAAD to correct the deficiency of the complaint of the appellant as long as the appellant is not an authority, organization or sport’s organism. In order to gain the effectiveness of the Law, it is very important that a CAAD with true autonomy is analyzed and regulated so that it complies with the principle of legality established in our Constitution; that the CAAD does not depend nor suffers from intervention from the Sport’s Governmental Organization (CONADE), and that the CAAD rests on regulations that establish a clear and reliable procedure for the designation of its members.
