Žižek, la rehabilitación de la política de la verdad, y la ideología

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo clarificar la propuesta filosófica y política de Slavoj Žižek, que consiste en un distanciamiento crítico respecto a la ideología. Para llegar a ella, primero tiene que esclarecer cuál es el carácter ontológico del sujeto y cuál es su manera de participar en la política. En este punto retoma –además de, como siempre,a La can– al filósofo francés Alain Badiou para recuperar su concepto de acontecimiento-verdad. Encuentra que en él hay un error que le será de gran utilidad: la descripción del acontecimiento-verdad en relación con el sujeto es precisamente la de la ideología. Pero la ideología no se limita a eso,sino que abarca la realidad en su totalidad. Entonces, si todo es ideología, ¿cuál es el valor de toda esta teoría de ontología política? Žižek responde que el valor radica en posibilitar la crítica a la ideología.This investigation has as objective the clarification of Slavoj Žižek’s philosophical and political approach, which consists of a critical estrangement from ideology. In order to achieve this, the philosopher hast to clarify the ontological status of the subject and how does he appear/perform in politics. Here he supports –appart from his usual reference, Lacan –himself on the French philosopher Alain Badiou, and uses his “event-thruth” concept. In this concept he finds an useful mistake: the characteristics of “event-hruth” and its relation with the subject, are basicaly the characteristics of the ideology. But, for Žižek, ideology implies the totality of reality. If everything is ideology, which is the true value of this political- ontological approach? Žižek’s answer: its value is the posibility of criticising and re-thinking ideology.
